New Fields, Inverleith

New Fields in Inverleith, Scotland is a development of 14 luxury, three-bedroom apartments and two penthouses by award-winning house builder, Applecross. Using the best materials and latest technologies throughout, DEVI underfloor heating was the natural choice for both interior and exterior use.

Applecross regularly uses DEVI products and within the two buildings at New Fields, employed the Devimat system to warm the floor tiles in a total of 60 claokrooms, en-suites and bathrooms. This system combines heating cables and tape lanes to form a mat that can easily be rolled out on the floor, saving an estimated 70% of installation time compared with other cable systems.

Externally, Deviflex DSIA with armour cable is used to heat the driveways to the secure underground parking areas, preventing any danger from black ice. The cables are linked to a Devireg 810 electronic control unit which uses ground sensors to monitor conditions.
